Garnet's House Drink

If you come to my house on a Friday or Saturday night, and if we just happen to be fresh out of our most recent homebrew (it's been too long since we made some!), you will end up with one of our House drinks...

Honey's nickname in college was House. There's a long, detailed and boring story that explains its origin but fortunately (for you readers), I do not remember this story. But while he was in college, he also developed a ritual on Friday nights. Friday nights were "Big Mac and Bacardi Nights." After work or class on Friday evenings, he's stop by McDonalds (his favorite) and order a #1, no sauce, SuperSized. That's a honkin Big Mac with an enormous fries and coke. He'd drink 1/4 of the coke on the drive home. Once he got home, he'd fill up the coke cup with Bacardi Limon Rum and hang out with his roommate doing a variety of geek things, such as watch anime, build or un-build computers, etc.
When he met me and introduced me to this tasty drink, I made a couple modifications to suit my taste and we ended up with an incredibly smooth and tasty "adult beverage!"
Here are the ingredients, if you'd like to try it yourself:

-- Get a large cup. Like one of those 24oz cups from your local convenience store.
-- Fill it halfway with ice.
-- Pour 1, 2, or 3 shots of Bacardi Limon (depending on your intentions!) over the ice
-- Add 1-2 shots Sweet and Sour drink mix
-- Fill the rest of the cup with Coke (we prefer Diet Coke with Lime also good with a cherry coke -or diet- or a squirt of lime juice)
-- Stir well, add a straw and enjoy!

**WARNING: These drinks tend to go down too easy. Side effects may include, but are not limited to: spagetti legs, giddiness, extreme flirtation or pure blackout. After one full evening of repeated use, long term side effects may include, but are not limited to: headache, nausea, body aches, temporary depression, and increased cravings for sugar, salt, or mexican food. The author of this blog and the creators of this cocktail are not liable for any ill side effects or bad hangovers suffered as a result of the afforementioned suggestion.**

It's basically a froo-froo Cubra Libra. We used to drink these all the time (before we began brewing beer). I've sort of laid off the alcohol in the last couple months but I'm enjoying one tonight and IT'S YUMMIEEEE!!!! So, I wanted to share! Whaddya think?!
